For Tesla owners, having a Tesla is like the gift that keeps on giving. throughout history, the only vehicles that added value or became more valuable over time were rare and exotic cars. Usually when you purchased a care and drove it off the lot, it becomes frozen in time. All the features and capabilities the vehicle had on the day you purchased it were locked in and you could get nothing more than that. However Tesla with it’s unique and one-of-a-kind platform ad ecosystem, is the only mass market vehicle that is able to keep adding to it’s intrinsic value over time. Tesla’s are the only vehicles on the market today that are capable of improving over time without the need for additional hardware and it is that spirit that Tesla Motors CEO – Elon Musk took to Twitter to announce the upcoming feature, saying that it may be available in August and “not more than a few months” if it doesn’t roll out next month.

Elon Musk continued by saying “When full self-driving is approved by regulators, we will enable video while moving,” Musk wrote on Twitter. Netflix, YouTube and new console entertainment additions will be packaged with Autopilot V10, Tesla’s driver assistance system, which may be rolling out to all Tesla vehicles at the end of August…fingers crossed. However, that is largely dependent on how smoothly the rollout goes to Tesla owners who are part of the Early Access Program. By the way, how does one get on the Tesla Early Access Program??? I’m asking for a friend. Musk also promises that the V10 Autopilot software will have superior highway Autopilot, improved traffic light and stop sign detection and Smart Summon. Smart Summon is one of the more futuristic features coming to Tesla cars. Cars with this feature can automatically navigate through a parking lot, find an available parking space and then come back to you when summoned. So you simply pull up to the entrance of a parking lot, then exit your Tesla and then with the push of a button on your smartphone’s Tesla app, send your Tesla on it’s merry way to sing a parking spot. So gone are the days when you spend valuable shopping time aimlessly driving around a 6 story parking lot in search for an available parking spot. Although there is no mention of that your Tesla will actually do in the case where it cannot find a parking spot. But I’m sure Tesla already has that figured out.
